Overview SQL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR:
Bowhead seeks a highly skilled SQL Database Administrator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining SQL databases, as well as applying DISA STIGs to ensure compliance with regulations.
The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team and be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Responsibilities Essential functions will include:
Design, implement, and maintain SQL databases.
Apply DISA STIGs to ensure compliance with regulations.
Monitor database performance and ensure availability.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
Optimize database performance.
Develop and maintain database backup and recovery procedures.
Ensure database security and compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with developers to design and implement database solutions.
Qualifications 3
years of experience in SQL database administration.
Excellent knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle databases.
Experience applying DISA STIGs to SQL databases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II compliant.
Excellent communication skills.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.
US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
