is seeking an AEGIS Team Lead(General Associate) for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).
Job location is Dahlgren, King George, VA.
Mandatory Requirement:

Originally established in 1918 as a naval proving ground for testing gun weapon systems, NSWC Dahlgren Division has evolved to focus on advances in technology in Warfare Systems Development and Integration.
The NSWC Dahlgren Division is a leading research, development, testing, and engineering (RDT&E) organization within the Department of the Navy.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Primary responsibility is to lead and manage the tasking requirements of the team supporting the NSWCDD Aegis Program Director and his technical leads in the following areas:
Task Planning and Technical Support:
Provide oversight of, and manage, Fiscal Year (FY) Task Planning Sheet (TPS) development, submission, maintenance, capturing FY tasking, and funding requirements of the Aegis portfolio of projects.
Lead and participate in TPS requirements and cost reviews with the technical leads to ensure proper coverage of the requirements and well-defended costs.
Provide oversight of final TPS review, entry, and submission in TPS data tool.
Assist the Aegis Program Director (PD) in the review and distribution of FY allocations and participate in sponsor led reclama sessions.
Compile, edit, and submit the final Aegis Technical Bi-Weekly report to the Aegis PD for distribution to Dahlgren and sponsor leadership.
Manage, review, and submit the bi-annual Informal Performance Assessment Reports (IPARs) on behalf of the Aegis PD.
Work with technical leads to ensure coverage of all controls in the IPAR reporting process.
Maintain an Action Item Tracker (AIT) for all relevant sponsor forums and track to closure.
Assist in the development of technical and programmatic briefs in support of the Aegis PD and/or Aegis Chief Engineer (CHENG).
Financial Management:
Develop agenda, conduct meetings, and prepare the minutes for the weekly Aegis financial meeting.
Work with the Aegis Business Financial Managers (BFMs) and the Aegis PD leadership staff to understand the current disposition of the Aegis budget and issues/concerns that need to be addressed.
Develop and maintain the funding spreadsheets for the Aegis PD documenting areas of concern and the technical impacts, if not funded.
Work directly with the sponsor to address funding issues and concerns and participate in financial forums.
Review monthly financial reports for areas of concern regarding execution versus plan as it relates to project schedules, priorities, staffing, and funding.
Work with the Aegis PD and the Business Office responding to sponsor directed financial data calls.
Meeting Support:
Lead the weekly Aegis PD Staff meetings reviewing current technical and financial status and upcoming requirements/concerns/issues.
Participate in quarterly financial reviews with the Aegis PD and the Business Office staff to analyze execution across all projects as it relates to schedules, priorities, staffing, and funding.
In the absence of the Aegis PD, schedule and lead technical and financial meetings providing direction and assigning actions to the technical leads and BFMs.
Participate in the Program Reviews, record minutes, and AIs.
Success for working in this position requires:
Minimum of5 years of Navy/DoD AEGIS Combat Systems and/or operational experience.
Minimum of5 years of Navy/DoD team leadership or program management experience.
Minimum of 7years ofcollecting, reviewing, and analyzing information in support of programs Possess strong organizational and task management skillsEducation and
Experience:
AEGIS technical/operational experience required.
Working knowledge of MS Office applications required.
BA, BS or MA is a plus.
PMP certification is a plus.
