Entry Level Job Description The Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) System Administrator is responsible for administration, maintenance, and tuning of all Navy's Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN) client/server architecture used to support the development, testing, and delivery of enterprise-wide modeling and simulation applications and services for NCTE and Surface Training Advanced Virtual Environment (STAVE).
Candidate will be part of a team that performs system engineering, system integration, hardware and software support, and technical and administrative support services for systems within the Navy's Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN).
Candidate will provide IT services and support baseline updates, installation services, software support services, and system administration services.
Candidate will provide services for all phases of system engineering, integration and support to ensure customers meet mission goals and objectives.
These efforts include the full range of infrastructure design, implementation, and integration, including, but not limited to, concept development, planning, requirements definition and analysis, systems design, integration, testing, implementation, deployment, support, and sustainment.

, VMware)o Experience with Active Directoryo Experienced with Remedy ticketing systemo Experienced with help desk troubleshooting protocolso Experienced resolving basic technical issues by providing scripted guidance regarding software and hardware problemso Experience resolving more complex technical problems through a defined escalation processo Experience with upgrades, migrations and integrationo Experience installing release upgradeso Must be able to lift at least 50lbso Security
and/or Microsoft/Linux certificationo Candidate must meet DoD 8570 requirements for IAT Level 2o Must be a US Citizen and currently hold and able to maintain a US Secret security clearance.
Minimum Qualifications 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience for positions involving new technology or labor market shortages as reflected by market survey data.
