Job Description
UIC Technical Services (UICTS) is an Alaska Native holding company owned by Ukpeagvik Inupiat Corporation (UIC). UIC Technical Services is based in Alexandria, VA. UICTS and its Bowhead family of companies provide our government and private sector customers'' expertise in areas such as program management, systems engineering/integration, logistics/supply support, software management/development, IT services support, aviation logistics/performance based logistics (PBL), configuration management, risk management and training/simulation support.
Bowhead is looking for a Systems Analyst to identify, validate, integrate and manage data associated with multiple systems supporting Naval District Washington (NDW) Energy initiatives. The Analyst will provide integration of multiple system data to create dashboard metrics needed to support the NDW Energy CONOPS. Typical duties include the creation and management of data sets, including automated metering and industrial control systems data, as well as, utility cost data from multiple sources; maintaining quality assurance/quality control processes and systems; populating energy usage definition tables and identifying data conversion, storage, interface problems and troubleshooting solutions; preparing and presenting data analysis results to senior level government and military personnel, and developing, updating, and maintaining baseline energy data for Navy installations. Additional duties include analysis of alternate means of deriving input data to select the most accurate, feasible and economical methods.
Required Skills
Demonstrated ability to produce system specifications, design requirements, test evaluation planning documents, and technical publications and reports
Requires strong understanding of current Microsoft supported Windows operating systems and the ability to assist others with resolving desktop related issues
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task and teach
MS Office Suite
Desired Skills
Familiarity with Department of Defense networking and security accreditation requirements.
SECURITY CLEARANCE:Must be able to obtain a clearance at the SECRET level.
Required Experience
Must have a Bachelor''s degree in an appropriate scientific, engineering, or computer related discipline and 5-8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidates must follow all company Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program Requirements.
All post-secondary education listed on a Candidate s application and resume must be verifiable, including but not limited to dates of attendance and degree/diploma awarded. Post-secondary education includes any courses taken through an accredited college or university in pursuit of a degree.
