SUMMARY
The Local Supervisor will provide daily management of clerical/administrative support. The position is not covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA) Davis Bacon Act (DBA), or union.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily management of clerical/administrative
Monitor performance, timecards, leave and training needs.
Provide feedback on daily issues and performance.
Supervise assigned personnel (e.g. hiring, evaluating, terminating, scheduling and professional development/training and advising) for the purpose of maximizing the efficiency of the workforce, meeting requirements and objectives.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties as assigned.
May require occasional travel.
Required Skills
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Eight (8) years of management experience, with at least five (5) years involving Federal Government programs/contracts.
Experience should include three (3) years of daily management of clerical/administrative
Must have or be able to attain a DOD security clearance.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to complete a substantial body of work.
Ability to accept and respond to new emergent and unique project task requirements.
Ability to present ideas clearly and succinctly both in writing and verbally to co-workers, team members, internal department groups and personnel as well as outside entities to include other departments.

Coordinates, supervises, and/or manages support personnel.
Additional Qualifying Factors:
As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results. May be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Must have or be eligible for security clearances. May require occasional travel.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
