Database Administrator, Senior
Key Role:
Support all aspects of the software development life cycle, including software and system design, development, integration, testing, and documentation for database driven software applications. Work with team leads and stakeholders to identify requirements, clarify design, and implement efficient database software solutions. Leverage excellent interpersonal expertise and working within a large software development team environment. Maintain responsibility for conferring with users, gaining comprehension of information needs, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, and investigating problem areas. Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures and provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues. Maintain the database by assisting with the establishment of policy, standards, and controls. Prepare for database expansion by studying plans and requirements, advising senior technical management, and coordinating design efforts and accomplish platform upgrades and improvement.
Basic
Qualifications:
5
years of experience with SQL Server 2008/2012 development and administration
Active Secret clearance
BA or BS degree
IAT Level II Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
