SUMMARY
Works directly with the Government personnel in meeting the administrative needs of the project and its staff. The position is covered under the Service Contract Act (SCA).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collects information and responds to routine inquiries and/or prepare periodic reports.
Selects appropriate methods from a wide variety of procedures and/or makes simple adaptations and interpretations from substantive guides and manuals
Traditional administrative/clerical support roles.
Attends meetings, records notes, reviews documentation, tracks data calls, and maintains database.
Some work is completed without established procedures.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
Two (2) years experience.
Verifiable experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Experience with military personnel administrative support
Experience with Transaction Online Processing System (TOPS)
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Ability to work in a support role supporting senior management and team.
Ability to develop effective working relationships across all organizational lines.
Ability to handle information of a highly sensitive and confidential nature.
Ability to prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed upon deadlines.
Ability to work with others as part of a team.

Additional Qualifying Factors:
As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results. May be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Must have or be eligible for security clearance at the secret level.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
