Job Summary
Perform as Systems Engineer for new and/or evolving Navy/USMC Radar acquisition programs. Will work with Navy officials or senior engineers, and be responsible for contributing to systems engineering tasking for new and evolving tactical Air Surveillance, Fire Control, and/or Ground Weapons Locating Radars. Specific work assignments will depend on the specific applicant skill set and may include: developing analysis tools, data extraction, reduction and analysis of Radar data, performance analysis/assessments, combat system integration, requirements definition, modeling and simulation, or test and evaluation. Assignments may be for AN/SPY-1 Radar, Dual Band Radar, Advanced Missile Defense Radar, Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar, Affordable Common Radar Architecture, or other Navy/USMC radar development programs.
General Experience: Comprehensive, in-depth knowledge of mathematical, physical, and engineering sciences applicable to a specialty field of engineering/science; or the application of fundamental and diversified professional engineering/science concepts, theories, and practices to achieve engineering/scientific objectives with versatility, judgment, and perception; or to adapt and apply methods and techniques of related scientific disciplines; or to organize, analyze, interpret, and evaluate scientific data in the solution of engineering problems.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum fifteen years if Candidate has a Bachelor?s degree; or
Minimum twelve years if Candidate has a Master?s degree; or
Minimum eight years if Candidate has a Ph.D degree.
Specialized Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in complex radar system engineering, design, analysis, or radar software development; Solid technical background as demonstrated by certifiable experience formulating opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the tasks specified in a contract statement of work; Demonstrated experience and ability to perform detailed and complex calculations and knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.
Must have ACTIVE US Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred is experience of requirements development and analysis on current and/or future military system radars. Experience performing data analysis using MATLAB or other analysis tools is desired. Experience with collecting and/or analyzing data for military radar or Combat Systems to evaluate performance.
A Bachelor?s degree from an a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering; or
A Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics; or
A Master?s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics; or
A Ph.D degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
