Oracle Database Administrator

ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR (RDTE-18-1739-F): Bowhead is seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to administer complex enterprise databases and database applications. Oracle Database Administrator will work with database management systems software and determines way to organize and store data. Determine user requirements, set up computer databases, and test and coordinate changes. Activities involve interaction with development and end-user personnel to determine application data access requirements, transaction rates, volume analysis, and other pertinent data required to develop and maintain integrated databases. Establishes and maintains security policies and procedures as it pertains to database content and servers. Ensures performance of database. Oracle Database Administrator will have experience with Oracle relational database administration support in a data warehousing environment. Serve as technical resource in the Database Administration group responsible for Oracle database administration and Oracle SQL development. Adhere to development methodologies when modifying databases and associated programming. Plan and implement upgrade and evolution strategies for corporate databases. Provide quality assurance, cyber security, and validation for all database initiatives. Serve as point of contact for database design. Special Emphasis for this position will be in SQL Development and utilizing Oracle Utilities (SQL Loader, DataPump Import/Export). Essential duties for Senior Database Administrator will include: o Database administration to include loads, backups, software upgrades o Design of data structures and database systems o Database specification development o Support of Data Warehousing environment o Data Analysis and Data Mapping o Interfacing with Data Analysts for solutions development o Interfacing with end users Requirements o Bachelor's degree along with five to eight (5-8) years of professional experience o Advanced expertise in Oracle database administration o Effective oral and written communication skills o Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL experience o Ability to work in a team environment o Table design / optimization o Trouble shooting o Schedule flexibility when needed for scheduled/unscheduled maintenance o Process analysis / process improvement o Financial / HR systems knowledge o PERL o Oracle Certified Associate o Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
