Web Applications Developer

WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER (RDTE-18-1738-F): Bowhead seeks a Web Application Developer in Dahlgren, VA to join an established team in designing, developing, testing, and deploying web-based applications in a .Net IIS environment in supporting ongoing development and operations on an established contract. The Web Application Developer will work both individually and in a team environment to develop database-driven web application solutions based on provided requirements. Essential functions will include: o Solutions will be developed utilizing C#/VB.Net interfacing with an Oracle backend utilizing SQL. o This position requires knowledge of web activities, techniques, tools, Oracle SQL, HTML, and GUI design. o Minimum of two years' experience in .Net web development. o Requires knowledge of web activities, techniques, tools, HTML, and GUI design. o Experience working with RDMS (Oracle preferred), experience with data warehouses is a plus. o Oracle SQL, and associated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, TOAD, and IIS are a plus. o Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and verbal and written communications skills are important. o Ability to work in a team environment or independently with minimal guidance. o Participate as a team member and coordinate activities with other teams. o Able to adjust to changing priorities and schedules based on customer needs. o Participate in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). o Ability to work and interact with various levels of contractor and government personnel. o Provide individualized user support as necessary. o Personal computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office software. Requirements o Bachelor's Degree and eight (8) years' experience in .Net web application development, Oracle SQL, and associated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, TOAD, and IIS. o Intermediate or better personal computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office software, intermediate to advanced abilities with SQL and experience working with RDMS (Oracle preferred) and data warehouses. o Requires advanced knowledge of web activities, techniques, tools, Oracle SQL, HTML, JAVA and GUI design. o Should have the ability to work independently with minimal guidance and be able to adjust to continuously changing priorities and schedules based on customer needs. o Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and verbal and written communications skills are important. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
