RF Systems Engineer

RF ENGINEER (E10-DETO-18-1887-F): Bowhead is seeking an RF Engineer to assist our team with the technical and operational services in support of DE projects within NSWCDD E10. Specific activities within the scope of this effort include the application of DE system technologies, deployment, and operations of High Powered Radio Frequency (HPRF) systems for a counter improvised explosive device mission-set. Duties for this position include: - Assisting with the design, integration, and testing of the RF generation, transmission, control, and antenna components - Assisting with the modeling and simulation of the RF system - Assisting with the packaging and mounting of the RF components/system - Assisting with the development and execute of intermediate, component-level, and full system testing - Communicating with Government and other contractor technical SMEs and leaders Requirements o Five (5) years of experience in design, development and implementation of analog and digital hardware and software related to RF systems. o Three (3) years of experience in the areas of signal generation, vacuum devices, high powered RF systems, digital signal processing, bench and/or system level testing of electronics components for U.S. Navy/Joint DE systems including pulsed power, RF, Radar, EW, Laser, and CIED systems and components o Masters of Science or greater in Mathematics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering (a BS may be considered based on experience level) o Experience with RF system and platform integration is highly desirable. o Exceptional communication skills o Extensive experience with MS Office products o Experience with Visio and/or SolidWorks highly desired o Experience with Antenna and propagation modeling software programs and/or MATLAB and/or Simulink highly desired o Experience with VNA and swept/Real-time spectrum analyzers a plus. o Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint o Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts o Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
