To apply for the GS-13 Position:
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1)Designing medium and low voltage power distribution systems for commercial building and site application;. 2) Demonstrating writing/reviewing and preforming cost estimates for electrical scopes of work for commercial building projects; 3) Perform Medium-voltage Power Distribution - the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70;National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), IEEE C2; and its application to grounding methods for electrical distribution, and rules for the installation and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution systems, transformers and other medium-voltage equipment; 4) Perform Medical and aircraft facilities; including but not limited to, emergency backup generation, uninterruptible power supplies, lightning protection systems, grounding, nurse call, electronic security systems, and aircraft ground power systems; and 5) Perform - including voice, data and video as well as other areas of expertise include grounding, bonding, shielding and both interior and exterior electrical power systems. 1) Serve as a senior electrical engineer providing design and other technical expertise for NAVFAC Washington, and the commands served; 2) Prepare detailed electrical engineering analysis, calculations and designs, development of plans using Auto Cad, specifications and cost estimates, in support of in-house and Architect/Engineer design=bid-build and design-build projects, for a wide range of projects; and 3) Directs the preparation of study reports, funding documents, requests for proposals for design-build projects, project site approval and official waivers, plans, specifications and cost estimates. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
