IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Evaluating cyber security operations to ensure compliance with system security configuration guidelines; 2) Collecting data to meet system cyber security reporting requirements; 3) Resolving cyber security issues by identifying alternative solutions to various problems; 4) Providing advice to personnel on cyber security regulations, policies, procedures and programs; and 5) Provide input in drafting cyber security documentation (e.g., systems security plans, risk assessments, disaster recovery plans, business continuity plans, and/or user security guides. In addition, your experience must reflect skill in each of the four competencies:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3.
