COMMUNITY PLANNER (CPLO)
GS-13:
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Develops innovative solutions to unique land use and encroachment problems; 2) Leads an encroachment team to accomplish actions necessary to implement Encroachment Action Plans (EAPs); 3) Speaks/makes presentations in discussions with local citizenry, professionals, and local/state/regional officials regarding community planning and growth management strategies; 4) Translating organizational requirements and/or objectives into strategic planning principles to make objective recommendations that may have significant long-term impacts on community development; and 5) Evaluates local initiatives, community general development and land use plans, and private development projects to determine impact on organization.
